Safety Information

For your own safety, please do NOT enter the forest in the event of a storm or in the immediate aftermath, because there is a high risk of snapped and windthrown trees.

• NEVER start a fire whatever the time of year.

• NEVER climb on log piles. Logs are heavy and when disturbed will move and roll.
• We are a working forest so be aware of vehicles and machinery moving around the forest.
• Avoid areas where you can hear chainsaws, the woodchipper or other machinery being operated. 
• Never walk through warning signs, cones or taped off paths. They are there for YOUR safety!
